Tragic Shooting Incident in Bihar: Two Members of Family Killed, Three Injured in Lakhisarai

Two members of a family were shot dead and four others were injured in an unfortunate incident that took place in the Punjabi Mohalla area of Lakhisarai in Bihar. The victims, who were returning from Chhath ghat after performing pooja, were allegedly attacked by a man named Ashish. The accused used to live in front of the victim’s house.

The victims, who were identified as members of the same family, were shot at by Ashish, resulting in the death of two individuals and leaving three others injured. The injured victims, including the deceased’s wife, sister, and father, were immediately rushed to Begusarai Sadar Hospital. However, due to the critical condition of their injuries, they were later referred to a hospital in Patna for further treatment.

According to initial investigations, Ashish had romantic feelings for a girl belonging to the victim’s family. However, when Ashish proposed marriage, the family declined the proposal. This rejection is believed to be the motive behind the tragic incident.

Lakhisarai SP, Pankaj, stated, “Ashish Chaudhary wanted to marry a girl belonging to the victim’s family but they were not ready for this. We are conducting an investigation, and the accused will be arrested soon.”
