Three people were shot following a dispute over bursting firecrackers in Bihar’s Vaishali on November 19. The incident occurred at around 9 PM at Belka village in Vaishali district. The victims have been referred to Patna for treatment, and further investigation is underway.
This is not the first incident related to firecracker disputes. On October 12, a 23-year-old man named Sagar Gadhvi was allegedly stabbed to death in Rajkot’s Morbi road area after a fight over bursting crackers. The Rajkot B Davidson police have booked three men, namely Shubham alias Subo Ribadiya, Karan Zinzuwadia, and Karana Ribadiya, in connection with the case.

In another incident, two brothers were arrested for allegedly stabbing a 22-year-old man and injuring another person over a dispute about bursting crackers in Mumbai’s Govandi on October 12. The accused, identified as Nilesh Bhalerao and Nikhil, were apprehended from their residence. They have been booked under sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 34 (common intent) of the Indian Penal Code.
