Double Homicide Investigation Underway in Bradenton, Florida
BRADENTON, Fla. – The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office has launched a double homicide investigation at an RV park in Bradenton. Detectives responded to a report of a disturbance at the Arbor Terrace RV Park on 55th Avenue Terrace West at approximately 12:05 p.m. on Friday.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered the lifeless bodies of a man and a woman inside one of the mobile homes. The victims’ identities have not been released at this time. Authorities immediately began searching for a suspect, and shortly after their arrival, a man was spotted fleeing the scene. Identified as 36-year-old Thomas Matejcek, the suspect was apprehended on 14th Street West and taken into custody.
The motive behind the double homicide and the relationship between the victims and the suspect are currently under investigation. The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office assured the public that this incident appears to be isolated and there is no immediate threat to the community.
