A 2016 Chevrolet Cruze failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) promptly arrived at the scene and transported both drivers to Fisher Titus Medical Center. The driver of the Cruze, an 18-year-old resident of New London, sustained minor injuries, while the Equinox driver, an 84-year-old from North Fairfield named Lowell Brown, suffered more severe injuries. Consequently, EMS transferred Brown to MetroHealth Medical Center for further treatment.
