Dr. Mamadou Coulibaly was an exceptional individual who dedicated his life to the advancement of public health and the well-being of the Malian people. Born on March 5, 1960, in Bamako, Mali, he exhibited a keen interest in medicine from a young age. After completing his primary and secondary education in his hometown, he pursued higher studies at the prestigious University of Bamako, where he graduated with a degree in medicine.
His passion for public health led him to pursue further studies abroad, and he earned a master’s degree in Epidemiology and a Ph.D. in Public Health from renowned universities in Europe. Dr. Coulibaly’s expertise and dedication were recognized by his peers, and he was appointed as the Chairperson of the PAMCA Mali Chapter in 2019.
Throughout his career, Dr. Mamadou Coulibaly made significant contributions to the field of public health, particularly in the areas of malaria control and vector-borne diseases.
