We are saddened to report the passing of Jerry Pelletier, a beloved friend and esteemed colleague at the Rosalind & Morris Goodman Cancer Institute (GCI). Mr. Pelletier’s death has left a profound void within the McGill community, where he was highly regarded for his contributions to cancer research and his unwavering dedication to improving patient outcomes.
Born and raised in Montreal, Canada, Jerry Pelletier was a brilliant scientist whose passion for biology and medicine led him to pursue a career in cancer research. After completing his undergraduate studies in Biochemistry at McGill University, he went on to earn his Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the same institution. Throughout his career, Mr. Pelletier made significant breakthroughs in understanding the molecular mechanisms of cancer and developing innovative therapies.
