VICTORVILLE, Calif. (VVNG.com) – A teenage girl, aged 18, was apprehended at a residence following a forceful theft at Party City in Victorville. The incident occurred on Friday, September 1, 2023, at approximately 1:15 pm, in the 12400 block of Amargosa Road in Victorville.

According to the authorities, multiple witnesses reported seeing an adult female, later identified as Tajae Johnson, and a juvenile female attempting to leave the store without paying for around $200 worth of merchandise. The store employees tried to intervene, but were met with resistance as the suspects pushed them and threw objects at them. The culprits managed to escape with the stolen goods.
Subsequently, during the investigation, law enforcement officials identified Johnson and tracked her down to a residence in Victorville. The deputies successfully recovered the stolen property from Party City, as well as additional stolen items from various department stores, totaling approximately $2,000 in value, according to a press release issued by the police.
As a result, Johnson was arrested on charges of robbery and possession of stolen property. However, the authorities are still working on identifying the juvenile involved in the incident.
