Tragically, the driver of the vehicle, traveling northbound, had insufficient time to react, resulting in a collision with the tractor-trailer. The impact caused the car to slide beneath the massive vehicle, eventually coming to a halt near a tree.

The victims of this horrific accident have been identified as 21-year-old Abraham Perez Celadon and his younger brother, 18-year-old Cristian Perez Celedon.

Razo, who was on her way to school, received a call from another cousin, informing her of their mother’s message about the accident. Overwhelmed with grief, Razo burst into tears and was immediately taken out of her classroom by her concerned teacher.

Recalling the heartbreaking moment, Razo said, “I threw myself on the ground and started crying hysterically. They took me to an office to confirm my cousin’s deaths. I called my mom, begging her to tell me it wasn’t true. But all I could hear was her crying, along with everyone else in the background. That’s when I knew something terrible had happened.”

Razo further revealed that her cousins had been living with her family, making their bond even stronger. Their mother resides in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico, and is unable to cross the border into the United States due to legal restrictions.

The grieving family is now actively working towards securing a humanitarian visa for their mother, allowing her to join them during this difficult time. However, their efforts have faced obstacles, and progress has been hindered.

As the community mourns the loss of these two young lives, the family remains determined to reunite their grieving mother with her loved ones.
