Charette, the operator of the electric bike, was involved in a collision with a gray 2017 Dodge Caravan driven by 37-year-old Ian Bourgoin of St Francis.
Despite Charette’s valiant effort to avoid the crash by dumping his bike, he ultimately slid into Bourgoin’s vehicle, sustaining serious injuries in the process.
