Unfortunately, a worker met with a tragic accident and lost his life due to electrocution on the under-construction Majuli-Lakhimpur bridge in Assam. The incident took place when the labourer, identified as Sabrir Ali, inadvertently came in contact with a high-voltage wire while carrying out his duties on the bridge.
It is reported that another labourer who was present at the scene suffered burn injuries and was immediately taken to a hospital in Dibrugarh for medical treatment. The construction of the bridge is being undertaken by the company ‘S P Singla’, and there have been allegations of negligence against them in the aftermath of this unfortunate incident.

The worker was carrying out his duties at the construction site when he accidentally tripped and fell from the flyover, resulting in a fatal outcome.
