Among the victims was a 57-year-old woman, Norzihan Bte Hj Juwahib, who had recently fulfilled her dream of owning a two-room flat in Sengkang just three months prior. The other victim was a 17-year-old student at Temasek Junior College, Afifah Munirah Binte Muhammad Azril.
