Indore (Madhya Pradesh): In a heartbreaking incident that has left the community in shock, a 25-year-old man tragically took his own life after a heated argument with his girlfriend in a hotel room in the Vijay Nagar police station area on Sunday night. The young man, identified as Mohammad Mustafa from Green Park, was employed in the scrap material industry. He had made a reservation at Hotel Galaxy Park around 11:30 pm that fateful evening.
The Details of the Tragic Incident
The woman accompanying Mustafa informed the authorities that they had initially visited a pub before heading to the hotel. Tensions arose between the couple when they discussed the prospect of marriage, with the woman expressing her reluctance to wed due to their differing religious backgrounds.
Upon her return from the washroom, the woman was devastated to discover Mustafa hanging in the room. She acted swiftly to bring him down and rush him to the hospital, but, tragically, he could not be saved. However, the deceased’s maternal uncle has raised suspicions about the circumstances surrounding Mustafa’s death.
Allegations and Suspicions
According to the uncle, the woman had contacted him and claimed that Mustafa had taken his own life. However, he pointed out discrepancies in the story, stating that the ceiling’s low height would have made it impossible for Mustafa to hang himself. Additionally, the absence of any marks on Mustafa’s shirt, the alleged tool used in the suicide, raised doubts about the official narrative.
He further alleged that the woman might have been involved in Mustafa’s demise, suggesting that she could have used the shirt to strangle him. Mustafa was not only the primary breadwinner for his family but also the sole surviving child, as his younger brother had tragically passed away in an accident a few years prior. His disabled father, who is unable to work, now faces the devastating loss of his only remaining son.

Following these disturbing revelations, the police have launched a thorough investigation into the case. The authorities have conducted a post-mortem examination of the deceased to shed light on the circumstances leading to Mustafa’s untimely death.
