The shocking incident occurred around 5 a.m. as the train was pulling into the station located in the 3900 block of Lankershim Boulevard. The victim, whose identity has not been revealed, succumbed to her injuries after being rushed to a nearby hospital by Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics.

Suspect Apprehended Near Ventura Boulevard

The suspect, identified as 45-year-old Elliot Tramel Nowden, was swiftly apprehended approximately 30 minutes after the attack near Ventura Boulevard and Vineland Avenue. Nowden was taken into custody by the Los Angeles Police Department and is facing charges of murder. He is currently being held on $2 million bail as the investigation unfolds.
