LATEST UPDATE: The West Richland Police Department has made a startling discovery while executing a search warrant at the residence of homicide suspect Elias Huizar. A second crime scene was uncovered inside the home, where a second homicide victim was found. The victim’s identity has not been disclosed, but it has been confirmed that they are a known associate of the suspect.
Authorities have issued a warning that Huizar is armed and dangerous, and there is a high likelihood of him committing further crimes.

WESTERN RICHLAND – The West Richland Police Department has named 40-year-old Elias Huizar as a person of interest in connection with a fatal shooting that took place on Monday afternoon at Wiley Elementary School.
Huizar fled the scene in a silver 2009 Toyota Corolla with Washington state license plate CBZ4745. He is described as being 5’6” tall and weighing around 170 pounds.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting at 3:23 p.m. on the school grounds of Wiley Elementary School in West Richland. A female adult was found deceased outside the school premises, with no other casualties reported.
