Accident – Death – Obituary News :

The Essex district attorney’s office has confirmed that 33-year-old Daniel Robichau, a resident of Danvers, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident that occurred on Friday evening in Danvers. The incident took place on Maple Street, where Robichau was riding his 2000 Harley-Davidson motorcycle.

The fatal collision occurred when a 2009 Honda Accord, attempting a left turn from Poplar Street onto Maple Street, struck Robichau. The impact resulted in severe injuries to Robichau, who was rushed to Beverly Hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. State Police have not disclosed if the driver of the Accord sustained injuries or if charges will be filed in connection with the accident.

In response to the heartbreaking news, an online fund-raiser has been set up to support Robichau’s family with funeral expenses. The fund-raiser has already raised more than $16,000, showcasing the community’s outpouring of support. Robichau leaves behind two daughters, aged 5 and 15, and his mother, Jeanette Dube, expressed gratitude for the love and support shown by friends and well-wishers on social media.

Dube shared on Facebook, “I am at a loss for words for all the love and support everyone has shown for Danny. I only hope he can see from wherever he may be, how much he is Loved and Missed, and the impact he had on so many people’s lives.” A memorial service in honor of Robichau is scheduled to take place in Beverly on Friday.
