Accident – Death – Obituary News :

AMBRIDGE, Pa. (KDKA) – A second suspect has been charged in connection with the tragic murder of a 15-year-old boy in Beaver County. The incident took place last July on Church Street in Ambridge, where the teenager was shot execution-style.

After 10 months of heartbreak for the family and frustration for the police, one suspect, Nasean Hunt, 18, has been apprehended. The authorities are now actively searching for the second suspect believed to be the trigger man in the shooting, Naheam Kurtsey.

Details of the Incident

Terel Dixon, the uncle of the victim, described the shooting as an ambush in broad daylight. “Being an ex-combat veteran, I know what an ambush looks like, and that’s exactly what happened to my 15-year-old nephew,” he emotionally shared.

Beaver County District Attorney Nathan Bible confirmed that Nasean Hunt has been charged with first-degree homicide. Investigators have identified Naheam Kurtsey as the alleged shooter in the incident based on DNA evidence.

Search for the Suspect

The authorities suspect that Naheam Kurtsey is currently hiding in Pittsburgh and have urged anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact Ambridge police. Kurtsey is considered armed and dangerous, so the public is advised not to approach him.

Family’s Response

The family of Asaun Moreland is grappling with the loss of a young life, with Terel Dixon vowing to attend the court dates of both suspects. “I’ll see you soon, buddy. I’ll be at your court dates. I’ll see you soon,” Dixon said, addressing the suspects directly.

As the investigation unfolds, the community is hoping for justice to be served, bringing closure to the tragic loss of a promising young individual.
