Officials have confirmed that Second Lt. James Chitika, an active-duty Airman stationed at Laughlin Air Force Base, was found dead under mysterious circumstances. Col. Kevin A. Davidson, the 47th Flying Training Wing commander, expressed deep sorrow over the loss, stating, “We tragically lost a member of our Air Force and Laughlin family.”
