Chillicothe Police Department Reports Daily Activity in Local Neighbourhoods
CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Chillicothe Police Department has recently released its daily activity report for April 21, 2024. Let’s take a closer look at the incidents that occurred in various neighbourhoods around the city.
Early Morning Incident on Orange Street
At 3:06 AM on Orange St, officers quickly responded to a report of an unruly juvenile. A child was spotted sneaking out of a residence at 868 Orange St. The officers swiftly located the child and safely returned them home.
Afternoon Investigations on Fairview Avenue and North Bridge Street
Later in the day, at 10:43 AM on Fairview Ave, an officer stationed on N Watt Street and E Water Street witnessed a vehicle failing to stop at a stop sign. An investigation is currently underway to address this traffic violation.
Similarly, at 1:25 PM on N Bridge St, an officer responded to a disturbance at Dick’s Sporting Goods located at 1251 North Bridge St. The investigation into this incident is still ongoing.
Evening Responses on East Main Street and North Hickory Street
As the day progressed, at 2:04 PM on E Main St, an officer attended to a trespass complaint at 525 E Main St. Meanwhile, at 2:48 PM on N Hickory St, a report of criminal mischief at 164 N Hickory St was received, resulting in an ongoing investigation by the authorities.
Later in the evening, at 6:41 PM at Sherman Park, an officer was dispatched to address a non-criminal matter. The investigation is currently pending as more information is gathered.
Disputes and Arrests on Ewing Street and East 2nd Street
At 8:41 PM on Ewing St, an officer responded to a dispute at 104 Ewing Street. Additionally, at 9:42 PM on Bridge Street, a male individual was arrested for disorderly intoxication, highlighting the importance of maintaining public order.
Finally, at 10:13 PM on E 2nd St, an officer conducted a traffic stop on E Main St, leading to an arrest being made. The Chillicothe Police Department continues to work diligently to ensure the safety and security of the local community.
