Accident – Death – Obituary News :

A man has been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of his wife in their Fort Worth home. Christopher Robertson, 33, was taken into custody on Sunday on a murder charge after allegedly admitting to the slaying. The victim was identified as his wife, 34-year-old Kristlynne Robertson.

Discovery of the Crime Scene

According to an arrest-warrant affidavit, the incident came to light when one of Christopher’s relatives found him heavily intoxicated inside their residence on Whitman Avenue. The relative noticed a strong, foul odor emanating from one of the bedrooms and discovered Kristlynne’s body wrapped in a blue tarp, with her head covered by a fallen office chair.

Details of the Investigation

Investigators later determined that Kristlynne had been shot in the left side of her face, below her eye, and had bullet fragments lodged in her head. Christopher was reportedly too intoxicated to provide coherent responses to the police officers who arrived at the scene.

911 Call and Confession

The following day, Christopher called 911 and confessed to the shooting, stating that he feared retaliation from his father-in-law. He willingly surrendered the gun used in the incident to law enforcement and expressed his desire to be taken into custody.

Legal Proceedings

Christopher remains in custody at the Tarrant County jail, with bail set at $100,000. It is unclear at this time whether he has retained legal representation. The tragic incident has left the community in shock and mourning for Kristlynne’s untimely death.
