Over the weekend, a tragic incident unfolded at a post-prom party in Fort Worth, Texas, resulting in the death of one individual and leaving two others wounded. The shooting took place in the early hours of Sunday morning at a residence on Singleleaf Lane, where students from Arlington Heights High School had gathered to celebrate their prom night.

Details of the Shooting

According to reports, the party was attended by a large number of uninvited guests, leading to a chaotic atmosphere. As the night progressed, a dice game turned into a heated argument, culminating in gunfire that left three individuals injured. The victims were not transported to the hospital by ambulance but rather in private vehicles, causing a delay in the police response.

Police Investigation

Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officers were able to piece together the sequence of events through interviews with witnesses. One of the wounded individuals, identified as Daniel Moreno, was initially taken to Harris Southwest Hospital before being transferred to JPS Hospital for further treatment. Tragically, Moreno succumbed to his injuries on Sunday afternoon.

Call for Justice

As of now, the Fort Worth police have yet to make any arrests in connection with the shooting. The mother who hosted the party has expressed shock and dismay at the turn of events, highlighting the need for justice for the victims and their families. The community has come together to support the affected individuals and call for an end to senseless violence.
