A tragic incident occurred in the Kukatpally area of Telangana on Sunday morning, where the lifeless body of a woman was discovered. Authorities suspect that she may have been the victim of a heinous crime in the early hours of the day.

Details of the Incident

The victim, identified as Sujatha, was believed to be between the ages of 42 to 48. The Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kukatpally, Srinivas Rao, stated, “At approximately 10:30 am, a distress call was received regarding the discovery of an unidentified female body at the AR PipeWork shop cellar, adjacent to Vishnu Priya Lodge, Y Junction, Kukatpally. It is suspected that the woman, who may have been a ragpicker, was subjected to a violent assault. The incident is believed to have taken place between 4-4:30 am.”

Ongoing Investigation

Law enforcement officials have initiated a thorough investigation into the matter. The body has been sent to Gandhi Hospital for a post-mortem examination, while efforts are underway to identify and apprehend the perpetrator through the examination of CCTV footage. The clues team and dog squad have been deployed to assist in the search, and a case has been officially registered as the investigation progresses.
