A tragic accident took place in Jharkhand on Saturday evening, involving Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi’s sister and brother-in-law. The incident occurred on the Delhi-Kolkata National Highway-2 in Dhanbad when the couple’s car collided with a road divider.
The Fatal Accident
The brother-in-law, identified as Rakesh Tiwari, tragically lost his life in the accident, while Pankaj’s sister, Sabita Tiwari, sustained severe injuries and is currently receiving treatment at the Shahid Nirmal Mahto Medical College Hospital in Dhanbad. Reports indicate that Rakesh was driving the vehicle when he lost control and crashed into the divider. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.

It is reported that the couple was on their way to West Bengal from Gopalganj, Bihar, which happens to be Pankaj Tripathi’s village.
Pankaj Tripathi’s Family Tragedy
Pankaj Tripathi, who is known for his versatile roles in the film industry, is currently dealing with this family tragedy. Less than a year ago, he lost his father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari, at the age of 99. The actor is yet to release an official statement regarding the recent incident.
