Child Kidnapped at Knifepoint in Melbourne, Four Women Face Charges

Four women are facing charges after a 6-year-old child was kidnapped at knifepoint in Melbourne, Florida, according to a news release from the Melbourne Police Department.

The incident took place at a south Melbourne residence, where the victim reported that the child was taken by multiple female suspects who attacked her and threatened her with a knife. The suspects then fled the scene in an SUV with an Alabama license plate.

Police believe that the suspects are related to the child’s father, who resides in Alabama. A statewide bulletin was issued for the vehicle, which was believed to be heading north towards Alabama.

Fortunately, deputies with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office were able to locate the vehicle traveling west on Interstate 10. They stopped the SUV, recovered the child, and detained the suspects. The child was unharmed during the incident.

Suspects and Charges

  • Eva Leonora Ical Ical, 32, who was the driver of the SUV, faces charges of home invasion robbery, grand theft from a dwelling, aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, child abuse, and unlawful possession of the personal identification information of another.
  • Ingris Ical Ical, 22, faces charges of home invasion robbery, grand theft from a dwelling, aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, child abuse, and unlawful possession of the personal identification information of another.
  • Marcia Ical Ical, 30, faces charges of home invasion robbery, grand theft from a dwelling, aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, child abuse, and unlawful possession of the personal identification information of another.
  • Dilia Pop Tec Ical, 24, faces charges of home invasion robbery, grand theft from a dwelling, aggravated battery, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, child abuse, and unlawful possession of the personal identification information of another.
