Authorities in St. Petersburg, Florida, have reported the arrest of two teenagers in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred on Saturday. The incident took place in the 100 block of 80th Avenue Northeast, where officers responded to a call at 1:18 p.m.

Details of the Incident

According to detectives, 21-year-old Marcus Rivers was found dead at the scene. It was determined that three men approached Rivers while he was in his car, leading to shots being fired. As a result, Rivers lost his life and a 17-year-old, identified as Tyvion Royal, sustained critical injuries. Royal was rushed to Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital in St. Petersburg, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

Arrests Made

Authorities have identified Royal as one of the suspects in the case, facing charges of first-degree murder, robbery, and unlawful possession of a firearm. A second suspect, a 16-year-old named Samarion Douglas, has also been arrested and charged with first-degree murder and armed robbery. Investigators are actively seeking a third suspect believed to be involved in the incident.
