Patna: A horrifying incident took place in Pana Chhapra village under Motipur police station area in Muzaffarpur district, Bihar, where a 38-year-old drug addict brutally thrashed his two daughters and a son with a rod, resulting in the death of one of the minor daughters.

The deceased, identified as 7-year-old Kriti Kumari, tragically lost her life in the attack. Her 5-year-old brother, Ayushman Kumar, sustained severe injuries and has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The accused, Abhishek Kumar, son of Shrinarayan Singh, was arrested by the police when he returned home in the afternoon and has been sent to jail to face legal consequences for his heinous actions.

According to SSP Rakesh Kumar, “The man beat up his three children upon reaching home early on Saturday. Unfortunately, one girl, aged seven, succumbed to her injuries, while the other managed to escape the attack and informed her grandfather who lives on the outskirts of the village. The police have sent the body for postmortem at Shree Krishna Medical College and Hospital.”

Inspector-cum-SHO of Motipur police station, RK Pandey, revealed that Abhishek had a total of five children. Three of his children lived with him, while his two other kids, a three-year-old son and a 12-year-old daughter, reside with his wife Anjali Devi in Sitamarhi.

This shocking incident has left the community in shock and disbelief, highlighting the need for more awareness and action against such acts of violence within families.
