The Tragic Incident in Sahiwal
In a small village in Sahiwal, a horrifying incident took place that shook the entire community to its core. The Rang Shah police were called to a house in Abadi Bagi Bahri, Chak Shafi after villagers reported a foul smell emanating from a locked home.
The Gruesome Discovery
Upon breaking into the house, the police made a gruesome discovery – the bodies of an elderly woman and her two sons, all brutally slaughtered with a sharp knife. The perpetrator had callously locked the house from the outside, leaving the bodies to rot until they were discovered on March 29.
The Search for Justice
With the community in shock, the Inspector General took immediate action, directing the Sahiwal RPO and Pakpattan DPO to apprehend the suspect responsible for this heinous crime. The police launched a manhunt and even announced a reward for any information leading to the capture of the culprit.
The Fatal Encounter
After receiving a tip-off, the Rang Shah police raided a village where they encountered the prime suspect, Irfan Odah. In a fierce exchange of gunfire that lasted for 30 minutes, Irfan was fatally shot by the police. Although his two accomplices managed to escape, justice was served for the victims – Sardara Bibi and her sons, Rafaqat and Liaquat.

In a separate incident in Harappa, another tale of abuse and harassment unfolded. Zeeshan, a man with a troubled past, was arrested by the Harappa police for brutally assaulting his ex-wife, Ayesha Bibi. The incident, captured on video and shared widely on social media, sparked outrage in the community.
A Woman’s Courage
Ayesha, a dedicated nurse and single mother, had bravely sought a divorce from Zeeshan due to his abusive behaviour. Despite facing threats and intimidation, she stood her ground and fought for her rights. Zeeshan’s violent attack on her as she made her way to work was a last-ditch effort to control her, but justice prevailed as the police swiftly apprehended him.
As the community grapples with these shocking events, one thing remains clear – the law will always prevail, and those who seek to harm others will be held accountable for their actions.
