Humayun : “Businessman Killed by Cousin”

A devastating incident unfolded in the upscale Defence Housing Authority (DHA) of Karachi, where a middle-aged businessman lost his life in a fatal shooting. The victim, identified as 45-year-old Humayun, was fatally shot outside his residence on Khayaban-e-Janbaz in DHA’s Phase V. The assailant, identified as Fahad Khan, allegedly fired multiple shots at Humayun, resulting in his untimely demise. Humayun, a beloved father of two, was a well-known businessman with a motorcycle showroom at Akbar Market in Saddar. The accused killer, Fahad Khan, who is also a cousin and friend of the victim, reportedly harbored a personal grudge against Humayun. The fatal confrontation between the two escalated outside Humayun’s home, leading to the fatal shooting that claimed his life.

The injured companion and eyewitness, Hammam Javed, provided crucial information to the police, detailing the sequence of events that transpired that fateful night.

The Darakhshan police swiftly responded to the incident, launching an investigation into the fatal shooting. Forensic evidence, including bullet shells and marks on the victim’s vehicle, were recovered from the crime scene. The police have registered a murder case against Fahad Khan, who is currently evading authorities. Efforts are underway to apprehend the suspect and bring him to justice for his alleged involvement in the heinous crime.
