According to Maine State Police, the suspect approached individuals in church parking lots in Parsonsfield and Baldwin on Sunday morning, brandishing a firearm and demanding money.

As the police closed in on the car, the driver attempted to flee, driving recklessly through a fence and across fields in Bridgton before being intercepted by authorities. The driver, later identified as McGlone, abandoned the vehicle and attempted to escape into the nearby woods but was swiftly apprehended by the police.

Following the incident, McGlone was taken to Bridgton Hospital for evaluation and is expected to be transferred to the York County Jail.
