The Incident in Noblesville, Indiana

A woman has been arrested in Noblesville, Indiana, after allegedly shooting and injuring a man during a road rage incident. The Noblesville Police Department responded to multiple calls reporting gunshots in the 1200 block of Brady Lane in Noblesville.

Police Response and Victim’s Condition

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found a man who had been shot. The victim received immediate medical attention before being taken to Ascension St. Vincent Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, he has since been discharged from the hospital.

Arrest of the Suspect

The suspected shooter, identified as Caley Gootee, was apprehended and interviewed by authorities. According to preliminary information, the altercation between Gootee and the victim began near the intersection of Bolden Road and 146th Street in Noblesville before escalating to the shooting on Brady Lane near the Meadows of Shelbourne housing area.

Charges Against Gootee

Following her arrest, Gootee faces multiple charges, including aggravated battery, two counts of battery using a deadly weapon, intimidation with a deadly weapon, criminal recklessness, two counts of pointing a firearm at another, and battery resulting in moderate bodily injury.
