Tragic Road Accident Claims Lives of Nine Youths in Aklera, Jhalawar District

In a heartbreaking incident that shook the residents of Aklera town in Jhalawar district, nine young individuals lost their lives in a devastating road accident. The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday when a van carrying the youths collided with a heavy vehicle near Aklera town.

Details of the Accident

The fatal accident took place near Pachola on Bhopal road at 3 am in the Aklera police station area. The van, carrying a total of 10 passengers, was returning from a wedding ceremony in Machalpur, Madhya Pradesh. Tragically, the van collided with a dumper, resulting in the crushing of the youths on board.

Community in Mourning

Upon learning of the devastating news, the tight-knit community of Aklera was plunged into grief. Seven of the deceased were residents of Aklera, while one each hailed from Jhalawar and Baran districts. The loss of these young lives sent shockwaves through the town, with funeral pyres burning simultaneously as the community mourned their tragic loss.

Identification of the Deceased

The victims of the accident were identified as Ashok Kumar (24), Rohit (16), Hemraj (33), Sonu (22), Deepak (24), Ravi Shankar (25), and Rohit (22), son of Jagdish Bagri. Two bodies remain unidentified at the Aklera police station, adding to the somber atmosphere that has enveloped the town.

The entire community came together to pay their respects to the departed souls, with hundreds of people from nearby areas joining the funeral procession. The loss of these young individuals has left a void in the hearts of their loved ones and the community at large.
