According to troopers, a 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by a 24-year-old man from Powhattan Point, collided with the bicycle at around 10:05 p.m. The impact caused the bicycle to veer off the left side of I-77 and into the median.

The bicyclist, identified as Bartholomew James Kosins Snow, a 44-year-old resident of Xenia, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Tuscarawas County Coroner’s Office. The driver of the car did not sustain any injuries in the accident.
