Four Killed in Tragic Accident on NH 48 in Dudu District
Jaipur: A devastating accident on National Highway (NH) 48 in Dudu district claimed the lives of four individuals on Saturday. The incident occurred when an SUV, travelling from Jaipur to Udaipur, lost control and collided with a bicycle before crashing into a parked trolley on the service road.
Details of the Accident
According to Dudu circle inspector Indra Prakash Yadav, the SUV was carrying three passengers on their journey from Jaipur to Udaipur. The driver attempted to avoid a cyclist near Dudu power station, leading to the loss of control and eventual collision with the trolley. Tragically, all three occupants of the SUV and the cyclist lost their lives in the crash.
The deceased individuals were identified as Ashok Kabra (45) from Udaipur, Vikas Chandak (48), Nirmal Ranka from Nimbahera, and biker Mukesh Vaishnav from Keriya Khurd. Despite being rushed to Jaipur from Dudu district hospital, Vaishnav succumbed to his injuries during transit.
Efforts and Notifications
Inspector Yadav stated, “The bodies of all four victims have been placed in the mortuary of Dudu CHC, and their family members have been informed through contact details retrieved from the deceased’s mobile phones. Local residents played a crucial role in freeing the bodies trapped inside the severely damaged car following the accident.
The tragic incident serves as a somber reminder of the importance of road safety and vigilance while travelling on highways. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones of the deceased during this difficult time.
