Teenager Charged as Adult in Milwaukee Shooting Incident

MILWAUKEE – A 17-year-old boy from Milwaukee has been charged as an adult after allegedly being involved in a shooting incident that took place on March 19. The incident occurred near 25th and Center at approximately 6:40 p.m., where two 25-year-old individuals sustained multiple gunshot wounds and were subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Details of the Incident

According to reports, the victims were unable to identify the shooter as they did not witness the attack. However, a witness who was present at the scene stated that a person known as “Lil J,” later identified as Javion Fenton, arrived at the location with another individual. The witness claimed to have seen Fenton retrieve a gun from the other person’s waistband and proceed to shoot one of the victims in the face. Subsequently, the witness fled the scene upon hearing additional gunshots, only to return and find the second victim also shot.

Evidence and Charges

Upon further investigation, the police discovered eight bullet casings inside the property, all of which were determined to have been fired from the same firearm following a ballistics examination. The witness positively identified Fenton from a photo lineup, leading to his arrest and subsequent charges. Fenton now faces two counts of first-degree reckless injury and misdemeanor possession of a dangerous weapon. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 20 to address the charges brought against him.
