Accident – Death – Obituary News :

The Bizarre Incident in Rio de Janeiro

In a bizarre turn of events, a security camera in a Rio de Janeiro bank captured a shocking scene that left everyone in disbelief. The footage showed a woman, identified as 42-year-old Erika de Souza Vieira Nunes, wheeling a dead man, 68-year-old Paulo Roberto Braga, into the branch.

Desperate Attempt for a Loan

According to reports by CNN Brazil, Nunes allegedly attempted to use Mr Braga’s identity to secure a loan. The woman’s actions have raised questions about her desperate attempt to access funds using her deceased uncle’s name.

A Shocking Discovery

As captured in the CCTV footage, Nunes tried to make the dead man sign loan documents by moving his hand with a pen. “Uncle, are you listening? You need to sign,” she said, but there was no response from the lifeless body. She even mentioned that he was not feeling well and threatened to take him to the hospital.

Alerting the Authorities

Bank staff grew suspicious when the man’s head kept falling back whenever Nunes stopped holding it. They quickly alerted the police, who arrived at the scene and arrested the woman on fraud charges. The deceased man’s body was subsequently taken to a morgue for further investigation.

The Location of the Incident

The shocking incident took place in Bangu, a city located just over three hours by car from the bustling tourist areas of Rio de Janeiro. According to Agencia Brasil, bank workers became alarmed when they witnessed Nunes speaking into the ear of the motionless man, further adding to the eerie atmosphere.

Legal Proceedings

Despite the woman’s claims that the man had passed away at the bank, a police forensic analysis revealed that he had actually died earlier while lying down. The woman now faces legal consequences for her fraudulent actions in attempting to secure a loan using her deceased uncle’s identity.
