27-Year-Old Bridgeport Man Identified as Victim in Suspicious Death Investigation in Framingham, Massachusetts

A 27-year-old man from Bridgeport, Connecticut has been identified as the victim in a suspicious death investigation in Framingham, Massachusetts, according to authorities.

Discovery of Victim

The victim, Brooks Hood, was found dead in a home on Fenwick Street in Framingham at approximately 6 p.m. on the 10th of the month. Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Framingham Police Chief Lester Baker stated that police were alerted to the discovery through an anonymous 911 call.

Hood’s body exhibited signs of “apparent trauma,” leading to the case being referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for further investigation.

Investigation Details

Authorities have not disclosed the nature or extent of the trauma that Hood suffered, but a ruling on the cause and manner of death is currently pending. In addition to the medical examiner’s office, the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Framingham Police, and State Police Detectives assigned to the DA’s office are actively involved in the investigation.
