Man Wanted for Aggravated Stalking Added to Nashville Most Wanted List
In a recent update from the Metro Nashville Police Department, a man accused of aggravated stalking has been added to the city’s “Most Wanted” list. The list, which is regularly updated on the Criminal Warrants Division’s Facebook page, features individuals considered to be some of the most violent offenders in Nashville.
Among this week’s “Top 10 Most Wanted” suspects, half are wanted for homicide or charges related to alleged sex crimes. The remaining suspects are wanted for crimes such as child abuse, burglary, and aggravated assault.
The newest addition to the list is a man with multiple warrants related to domestic violence, including aggravated stalking and violation of a protection order. Despite ongoing efforts to locate him and the other “Most Wanted” suspects, the list has already led to numerous arrests. Since the program’s launch in October 2022, at least 98 fugitives have been taken into custody.
Former Nashville Theater Teacher Arrested for Unlawful Sexual Contact with a Child
In a separate incident, a former drama teacher for Metro Nashville Public Schools, 60-year-old Gary Schleimer, was arrested for unlawful sexual contact with a child. Schleimer allegedly grabbed a middle schooler’s chest from behind while they were alone in a classroom together. He was brought back to Nashville to face charges of aggravated sexual battery involving a child under 13.
Tips from the public have played a crucial role in several arrests of “Most Wanted” suspects. Here are the details of some of the suspects who made the police department’s list the week of April 17:
1. Lagarrion L. Blacksmith
Lagarrion Blacksmith, 35, is this week’s top most wanted fugitive in Nashville. He has been on the list since November 2023 after being connected to a deadly shooting outside a Dickerson Pike bar. The shooting claimed the life of 35-year-old Chancellor Eddins, who was found lying outside Trvth Lounge on February 18, 2023.
Witnesses reported an argument inside the bar leading to the shooting, with shots fired as the victims left the location. Blacksmith was identified as a suspect in the case, and warrants were issued against him for criminal homicide, attempted homicide, and felon in possession of a handgun. Efforts to locate him have so far been unsuccessful.
2. Raceme Crutcher
Raceme Crutcher, 22, has been wanted since July 2023 for his involvement in a deadly Fourth of July shooting at the Fallbrook Apartments. The victim, 16-year-old Etabo Malanda, was shot and killed during the incident. Crutcher and another suspect, 17-year-old Jaylin Brown, were connected to the crime through witness accounts and surveillance footage.
Brown was arrested in August 2023, but Crutcher remains on the run. He was added to the “Most Wanted” list in November 2023, and his last known location is unknown.
3. Kejuan Jordan-Cole
Kejuan Jordan-Cole, 22, is believed to be one of seven suspects involved in a deadly shooting on the Fourth of July that claimed the life of 27-year-old Christopher L. Harris. Witnesses reported a group of young men approaching Harris and opening fire, with as many as 100 rounds fired during the incident.
Several suspects have been arrested in connection with the shooting, but Jordan-Cole remains at large. He was added to the “Most Wanted” list in December 2023, and his last known location is unknown.
4. Michael A. Yarlett
Michael Yarlett, 28, is wanted on three counts of aided and abetted rape in connection with an incident in September 2022. He was added to the “Most Wanted” list in November 2023, and his last known location is unknown.
5. Ladonte J. Groves
Ladonte Groves, 23, was indicted on multiple charges related to alleged sex crimes and has been added back to the “Most Wanted” list. He is wanted for two counts of rape, two counts of sexual battery, and one count of domestic assault. Groves was last seen in the East Nashville area.
6. Cameron J. Glenn
Cameron Glenn, 42, was first added to the “Most Wanted” list in November 2022 for alleged domestic violence incidents. He was arrested in May 2023 but is now wanted again following a grand jury indictment on charges including aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and domestic assault.
7. Jennifer Urbina
Jennifer Urbina, 42, is wanted for child abuse and aggravated child neglect involving a child 8 years old or younger. She was last seen in Madison.
8. Liam E. Bailey
Liam Bailey, 24, is wanted for aggravated stalking, aggravated assault, violation of a court order, and violation of an order of protection. He was last seen in Clarksville.
9. Ricky C. Roach
Ricky Roach, 43, is wanted for aggravated burglary, aggravated burglary acting in concert, and theft of property less than $250,000. He was the subject of a massive manhunt in Cheatham County in 2022 and is now wanted in Davidson County.
10. Joseph Cavaleri
Joseph Cavaleri, 39, is wanted for burglary, theft of property, criminal impersonation, and failure to appear. He was last seen in the Central precinct.
