The Arrest of Suspects in Salman Khan Firing Case
Over the weekend, the Mumbai Crime Branch successfully apprehended two individuals who were allegedly involved in the firing incident outside Salman Khan’s residence on April 14. The dramatic turn of events led to the arrest of the accused in the town of Bhuj, Gujarat.
Police Coordination and Capture
Following a tip-off, the Mumbai police swiftly alerted the Kachchh Police about the suspects’ whereabouts in Kachchh. Task forces were promptly assembled to track down and apprehend the individuals. After a thorough operation, the Kachchh police managed to capture the accused, who were later transferred into the custody of the Mumbai Police.
Connection to Criminal Gang
During the initial interrogation, it was revealed that the arrested individuals had ties to Lawrence Bishnoi’s notorious gang. The police are now planning to transport the suspects back to Mumbai for further investigation. Identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, the individuals are believed to have played a significant role in the shooting incident.

The shooting incident outside Salman Khan’s residence unfolded in the early hours of April 14. Two masked individuals opened fire outside the iconic Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where the Bollywood superstar resides. The assailants quickly fled the scene on a motorcycle, evading immediate capture.
Security Measures and Threats
In light of the incident, ten specialized teams from the crime branch were deployed to secure the vicinity around Galaxy Apartments. Maharashtra’s Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, instructed the Mumbai Police Commissioner to enhance Salman Khan’s security detail. Khan’s security level had already been elevated to Y-Plus in 2022, owing to prior threats from gangsters like Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar.
Following the shooting, a social media post by Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, claimed responsibility for the attack and issued a warning to Salman Khan, hinting that this may just be the beginning.
