Accident – Death – Obituary News : Hyderabad: Two years on from the tragic road accident that occurred in Jubilee Hills, claiming the life of an infant, a significant development has taken place. Raheel Shakeel, the son of former Bodhan MLA Mohd Shakeel Aamir, has now been implicated as an accused in the case.

Investigating officers have revealed to TOI that there is substantial evidence pointing towards Raheel being behind the wheel at the time of the accident in March 2022. Allegations suggest that he used his father’s influence to evade responsibility and instead had another individual surrender to the authorities on his behalf.

Following the incident at Praja Bhavan, where a similar strategy was suspected to have been employed, the police reopened their investigation into the Jubilee Hills accident. The mother of the deceased infant, Kajal Chouhan, who works as a balloon seller, was summoned once again to provide her statement.

During her testimony, Kajal mentioned that a stocky young man was driving the vehicle at the time of the accident. Consequently, Raheel’s friends, Mohammed Maaz and Syed Afnan Ahmed, who claimed to have been present in the vehicle during the incident, were called in for questioning.

Initially, the two friends had informed the police that Ahmed was the one driving. However, when confronted with Kajal’s statement, they altered their narrative and confessed that it was indeed Raheel who was behind the wheel.

The unfolding events in this case have shed light on the complexities surrounding the investigation into this tragic incident. The reevaluation of witness statements and the involvement of key individuals have brought new dimensions to the case, indicating that justice is being pursued diligently.

The community in Jubilee Hills and beyond awaits further developments in this case, hoping for closure and accountability for the loss of the innocent life in the accident two years ago. As the legal proceedings continue, the truth behind the events of that fateful day is slowly coming to light, bringing a sense of justice to the grieving family and the wider community affected by this tragedy..
