Woman Fatally Shot in Warehouse District Identified

In a tragic turn of events, the Orleans Parish coroner has identified the victim of a fatal shooting in the Warehouse District of New Orleans. The incident took place on Monday, April 15, in the 800 block of South Peter Street.

The victim, 24-year-old Jezreel Poleate, was found lying on the sidewalk with fatal gunshot wounds. Additionally, five men and six women were injured in the mass shooting and rushed to the hospital for treatment.
