Accident – Death – Obituary News : An elderly couple tragically lost their lives in a violent clash that took place in the peaceful village of Mahuli in Bulandshahr district, Uttar Pradesh. The couple, identified as Ishaq Ali, 70, and his wife Zameela, 68, were brutally beaten with lathis and then shot dead in front of their own home. The shocking incident left the entire village in a state of shock and disbelief.
The clash, which resulted in the death of the elderly couple and injuries to eight others, was reportedly a result of an ongoing rivalry between two groups. The police revealed that the main accused, Shaukeen Ahmed, had a long-standing feud with Ishaq’s family, dating back to an incident 22 years ago when Ishaq’s father had severely injured Shaukeen’s father. The rivalry escalated over the years, with Shaukeen and his accomplices allegedly attempting to murder Ishaq three years ago.
According to eyewitness accounts, a group of around 20 people armed with lathis and stones launched a sudden attack outside the couple’s house on Monday afternoon. In a desperate attempt to protect their loved ones, Ishaq and Zameela rushed to intervene, only to meet a tragic end. Their son, Rahool, recounted the horrifying ordeal, stating that his parents were shot and killed while trying to save their family.
The injured victims from both sides were rushed to the local hospital, where two individuals were reported to be in critical condition. Despite the gravity of the situation, no arrests have been made thus far. In response to the escalating tension, Deputy SP of Bulandshahr, Poornima Singh, assured the deployment of additional police forces in the village as a precautionary measure. The authorities have also begun the process of reviewing CCTV footage to identify the assailants responsible for the heinous crime.
