The collision between a speeding SUV and a parked truck near Rayala-Gulabpura shook the local community on Monday evening.
The victims, Deepak Patwa (24) and Rohit Vaishnav (25) from Chittorgarh, along with Devi Lal (24) from Udaipur, tragically lost their lives in the fatal crash. The SUV, registered in Udaipur, was en route from Jaipur to Chittorgarh when a tire blowout led to the catastrophic collision with the stationary container. The impact was so severe that it claimed the lives of the three passengers and left the minor girl critically injured.
Circle inspector Gulabpura, Puran Mal Meena, shared, “The Scorpio carrying the passengers had a burst tire, causing it to veer off course and collide with the parked truck. The scene of the accident was nothing short of tragic, with the vehicle sustaining extensive damage.” The injured minor was promptly rushed to MG Hospital in Bhilwara for urgent medical attention.
The occupants of the ill-fated vehicle had been returning from a memorable trip to Kullu Manali and were on their way back to Chittorgarh. The heart-wrenching news was relayed to their family members, and passersby played a crucial role in extricating the injured from the wreckage.
