Authorities in New York City have made an arrest in connection to a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred in Queens two years ago. Raytawon Wright, 26, has been charged with manslaughter, assault, leaving the scene, reckless driving, and several other charges related to the incident that took place in 2022.

Investigators arrived at the scene to find a 55-year-old man with minor injuries and a 26-year-old man, later identified as David Molina, with severe head trauma. According to the NYPD, Wright was driving a dirt bike westbound on the boardwalk when he lost control, crashing into a bench and a pedestrian.
After the collision, Molina was thrown off the bike, and Wright allegedly fled the scene, leaving him on the ground. Sadly, first responders declared Molina dead at the scene. The 55-year-old victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment.
