Accident – Death – Obituary News : Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two Men in Mumbai

Mumbai: A horrifying accident on Tulsi Pipe Road in Mahim on Sunday night resulted in the deaths of two men who were riding triple-seat on a motorcycle. The incident occurred when their bike collided with a parked bus, causing devastating consequences.

According to a police officer at the scene, the three men were returning from a party and were allegedly speeding at the time of the accident. Shockingly, none of them were wearing helmets, and police sources suspect that they may have been under the influence of alcohol.

The deceased individuals were identified as Nilesh Patil, 25, and Bhavesh Dharne, 27. The third rider, Vikas Sonawane, sustained critical injuries and is currently receiving treatment in the ICU at KEM Hospital.

Eyewitnesses reported that the accident occurred around 11.30 pm as the trio was traveling from Senapati Bapat Marg towards Dadar station. CCTV footage from the scene revealed that Patil was speeding and collided with a speedbreaker, causing him to lose control of the bike and crash into a parked bus.

Despite being rushed to the hospital, doctors were unable to save Patil and Dharne, who were declared dead upon arrival. This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of road safety measures such as wearing helmets and refraining from speeding.

In a separate but equally tragic incident, a woman lost her life and her young son sustained injuries when a state transport bus collided with the motorcycle they were riding in Palghar district on Monday. Sonal Lokhande, sarpanch of Govale gram panchayat, tragically passed away at the scene, while her son is currently receiving medical care.

The local police have detained the driver of the state transport bus as investigations into the accident continue. These heartbreaking incidents highlight the need for greater awareness and adherence to road safety regulations to prevent further loss of life on our roads.
