The incident unfolded in the 3600 block of Dundee Place in Colorado Springs. This neighbourhood is situated just north of Airport Road, off Chelton Road, making it a bustling area within the city.
Efforts to Save the Victim
Authorities were alerted to the scene at approximately 11:17 a.m. on Sunday. Despite the swift response from officers and their attempts to save Mason’s life, the victim tragically succumbed to his injuries.
Suspect Identified
The suspect, 32-year-old Alexander Brown, has been charged with first-degree murder in connection to the incident. It has been revealed that both the victim and the suspect were neighbours, adding a chilling dimension to this harrowing event.
