A devastating incident unfolded on Sunday night as a 19-year-old pedestrian lost their life after being struck by a vehicle on Interstate 75 in Butler Township, Montgomery County. The tragic crash occurred at 8:50 p.m., leaving the community in mourning.

Details of the Incident

According to a spokesperson for the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the collision took place on the southbound lanes of I-75. A 2010 Chevrolet Malibu, driven by Kathleen Thompson, 73, of Dayton, and a 2014 Cadillac Escalade, driven by Morgan Felger, 31, of Waynesville, were both travelling in the same direction when the accident occurred.

The victim, identified as David Satkowski, 19, of Lapeer, Michigan, was attempting to cross the interstate from east to west when he was struck by both vehicles in the middle lanes of southbound I-75. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, Satkowski tragically succumbed to his injuries at the scene of the crash.
