Robert Eugene Mohr, 47, of Morning Sun, Iowa, tragically lost his life in a work-related incident involving a skid loader. The incident, which occurred at a location on 18913 240th Street, is being investigated as an accidental death by the sheriff’s office.

On Sunday, at approximately 3:16 p.m., deputies received a distress call regarding a skid loader incident. Upon arrival, they found that a skid loader bucket had fallen on Mr. Mohr, leaving him unconscious and not breathing. Paramedics were on the scene providing CPR in an effort to save his life.

Despite the best efforts of emergency responders, Mr. Mohr’s injuries were too severe, and he was transported to Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries.
