Police Encounter in Raiwind Leads to Death of Two Suspected Robbers
In a recent incident in Lahore, two suspected robbers met their end in a police encounter that took place in Raiwind. The incident unfolded when a concerned citizen, Muhammad Zahid, dialed the emergency helpline 15 to report that three men were actively engaged in looting people in the area.
Upon receiving the distress call, a team of police officers quickly responded to the scene and confronted the alleged robbers. In a bid to evade capture, the suspects resorted to firing at the law enforcement authorities, prompting a retaliatory exchange of bullets.
Tragically, two of the suspected robbers sustained fatal gunshot wounds during the shootout, while the third accomplice managed to escape from the scene. The identities of the deceased individuals remained unknown as the investigation continued into the evening.
Shopkeeper Fatally Shot During Robbery in Sattokatla
In a separate incident that sent shockwaves through the community, a 40-year-old shopkeeper named Rizwan Elahi was brutally murdered by unidentified assailants in Sattokatla. The tragic event transpired when the victim was present at his store located at Ghazi Chowk.
According to reports, the perpetrators entered the establishment with the intent to rob valuable items. When Rizwan bravely resisted their criminal actions, the robbers callously opened fire, resulting in the fatal shooting of the shopkeeper.
Following the heinous crime, the victim’s body was transported to a local morgue for further examination through an autopsy procedure. The loss of Rizwan Elahi has left the community in mourning, with authorities vowing to bring the perpetrators to justice.
