TRENTON: A devastating incident unfolded in New Jersey as an “extremely dangerous” suspect was apprehended by authorities after a shooting rampage that claimed the lives of three family members. The suspect, identified as 26-year-old Andre Gordon, was taken into custody in a dramatic turn of events that left the community in shock.
Carjacking and Violence Spree
Gordon’s rampage began in Trenton, where he carjacked a vehicle before making his way to the northern Philadelphia suburb of Levittown, some 40 miles away. There, he committed heinous acts of violence, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, including his 52-year-old stepmother and 13-year-old sister.
Authorities revealed that three other individuals managed to escape harm by hiding as Gordon ransacked the house in search of them. The suspect then proceeded to another residence, where he fatally shot a 25-year-old woman, who was the mother of his children, and assaulted her mother with his rifle.

Following the violent spree, Gordon fled the scene, carjacking another individual before returning to Trenton, where he barricaded himself in a three-story house. Law enforcement agencies, including the FBI and ATF, were involved in the manhunt for the armed and dangerous suspect.
SWAT teams evacuated residents from the property as negotiations ensued, urging Gordon to surrender peacefully. After several hours, Gordon was located at a different location in Trenton, where he was taken into custody by authorities without incident.
