Tragic Suicide of 15-Year-Old Boy in Erode

In a heartbreaking incident that shook the residents of Bharathi Street at Nallur in Puliampatti, Erode, a 15-year-old boy named L Raghu took his own life in the early hours of Saturday. The young boy was a class 10 student at a government high school in Nallur and was preparing to write his public exam on March 26.

Family Conflict Over Mobile Phone Usage

The tragic turn of events began on Friday night when Raghu’s father, Loganathan, a carpenter, returned home from work and found his son engrossed in his mobile phone instead of studying. Concerned about his upcoming exam, Loganathan confiscated the device, leading to a confrontation with Raghu.

Devastating Discovery the Next Morning

Upset over the incident, Raghu retired to bed on the first floor of the family home, alongside his sister. However, the following morning, his sister discovered his lifeless body on the ground floor, having taken his own life during the night.

Police Investigation and Autopsy

Upon receiving the distressing news, the Puliampatti police promptly arrived at the scene and transported Raghu’s body to the Erode Government Hospital for further examination.
