Tragic Accident Claims Life of Woman in Henry County, Virginia
A heartbreaking incident occurred in Henry County, Virginia, where a woman from Greensboro, N.C. lost her life in a single-vehicle crash. The victim, identified as Jennifer Marie Stokes, 61, tragically passed away after her 2018 Kia Soul veered off Route 220. Despite wearing her seatbelt, Stokes succumbed to her injuries at the scene of the accident.
The Virginia State Police is currently conducting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. The tragic incident took place on Friday, March 15 at 6:24 a.m., just south of White House Road in Henry County. Stokes’ vehicle left the roadway, collided with a culvert, and ultimately overturned, leading to the fatal outcome.
